Known as the Prince of Gospel, Kee picked up where Rev. James Cleveland left off when he passed away in 1991. Although there are modern elements to his music, Kee has largely kept the traditional black choir style that Cleveland popularized alive and well with such songs as “Show Up”, “New Life”, and “Wash Me”. Kee has received various awards, including 21 Stellar Awards, 27 GMWA Excellence Awards, a Trailblazer Award from President Bill Clinton, one Soul Train Music Award, two Billboard Music Awards, a Gospel Music Hall of Fame Award, seven GRAMMY® Award nominations, and several more.
More than a pastor and Grammy-nominated artist, Travis Greene is just a man. A husband and father of 3 kids, he is not only devoted in the spirit, but in his home as well. Travis relishes nothing more than to see the smile on his wife Jackie’s face, whom he calls his “ray of light”. When he’s not on tour or leading prayer at Forward City Church, he’s most likely to be found spending time at home, with his sons on his lap. A man of God, indeed, Travis is an ordinary human being like you and me.
